Couple quick questions - Why are the wieghts there to begin with (is it just to make it feel sturdier)?

How much does it change the feel of the mouse?

Thanks!

many gaming mice have weights in there and it is indeed to give some "feel" in the mouse. having some weight to cause resistance to movement can improve muscle memory in the gamer, making for a more accurate repetition of movement. But it is completely down to taste. I dont mind the weight so much but i might drop some of it out to see if i like the feel.

Ive had mine open a couple of times now, it isnt difficult as long as you are considerate to the equipment and take your time, but i will not reccomend doing it as you invalidate your warrenty by opening the product.

Yes it is definitely preference I am so used to the mx518 and g400. For console aiming I really don't mind the weight in the mouse but for pc I wanted just a little more speed. I did this to the fragnstein back in 2009 it worked well.

Thanks for your replies, I will probably try and remove some of the wieght as I feel it is a bit heavy to me. I'm used to the feel of my mouse for the PC so I would prefer it to be similar. Good point about the warranty and I too do not recommend this for that very same reason. Although I can't really see how anyone could really tell it's been opened based on the instructional videos I've seen posted here. Personally I'm not concerned about having to buy a new one other then the time it takes to get it. It would be nice if Tuact would sell their product to the public.

Question for GODJOEY or anyone else I guess if you're interested. You mentioned using the mx518 and g400 for console aiming. Do you use these with the XIM3, Eagle Eye or something else?

Whats up, I use just about all the emulators on the market. Xim3, Edge, eagle eye, aimon series, splitfish fragfx, bannco fragnstein, hori, etc. We have been testing the emulators now for 4+ years starting with the fragfx 1. Thanks to Tuact for writing the software for it to revive it after splitfish killed it off after a sony kill patch. But it was revived only to be beaten I think cause the Aimon beat it something the fragnstein couldn't do.

As it goes right now I personally don't see any competition for the aimon when it comes to console mice especially in this price range. $70-$80 it performs well as a pc mouse and then of course the main reason most people get it the console mouse and a nunchuck.

Adapters are another story you can choose your own gaming mouse and keyboard
Xim edge right now is #1 out of the adapters eagle eye also did a great job.

Just depends on how much you are looking to spend on the right stick emulation. My edge setup would equal to $90 for the edge + my keyboard which is $100 of course you don't have to spend this much I just like the cherry mx red switch from leopold + Gaming mouse $40 g400.

Great feedback, thanks GODJOEY! I learned along time ago to listen to my elders and although I'm probably older then you in life (I've been to town and I've scene the elephant!) I'm still a complete Noob when it comes to console gaming without a gamepad. That's where people like you are a great asset and I for one appreciate what you're doing! It's funny because with this type of thing it's so exciting that you want to share it with the world but at the same time I'm kind of like "Man I'm not sure I want everyone to know about this". For me the good and the bad thing about this product is it's hard at first. I like that because the people that really aren't into gaming give up quickly and say it's garbage! Hell I've been a gamer my whole life and I almost gave up on this thing! But the gamer in me saw the potential and so I stuck to it knowing I had to put in the time in order to get the return. Hell truth is I'm still struggling with it but it's only been a few days. But I've scene how good this thing is when I'm not over thinking it. I know alot of people see your video's and say they're BS because they can't see the potential of this thing. They expect it to act exactly like their mouse. Any true gamer knows you have to put in the effort if you're going to be good, this product is no different. Personally I'm shocked that Aimon was capable of getting it as close as they did so Kudos to them. I can't wait to see what Tuact comes up with next! All this being said, I recognize you've put a lot of time into this type of gaming and there for I have a lot of respect for your opinion. I would be great to see you make a post of the types of settings you use for different games. Especially for the XB (I had a Playstation 3 but sold it because I hated thier controller lol, who knew!). I realize that everyone's preferences are going to be a little different. But I know you've spent a lot more time with this thing then most and that means something in my book! So if you'd like that would be cool, if not that's cool to. Thanks man!

Yea when I first got a fragfx 1 the first mouse emulator I tried it felt awkward and I hated it compared to pc aiming. Plus it felt like at any moment it could break in your hands it was more fragile than my kids toys. But you adjust of course and you start making shots that you wouldn't normally make with a stock gamepad. Just takes a little time for the muscle memory to adapt and then ... It's all over any decent gamer with a good set of headphones and good tactics can be a horror with an emulator vs gamepad users.

Thank you I appreciate the feedback for the videos we put up. Basically started cause building new pc's and upgrading parts per new game that comes out just wasn't making sense. I loved pc gaming but the hit in graphics was a good trade off having not to deal with glitching and hacking and upgrading pc parts by going to console.

I been on Xbox a little and I really like the graphics something about ATI I just like their lighting and graphics even on pc a little sacrifice in the fps department but it pays off. I know we have over 150 videos up right now most of which have settings I hope with the game and the controller if not and it isn't on this forum somewhere I'll dig them up. Thank you for your kind comments it does mean a lot =). Hit us up at our site also we welcome any tweaks and findings you all find.

I'm uploading a video I just did tonight with the Aimon Xb elite for Ghost Recon Future soldier. I really didn't think I would enjoy it cause it is 3rd person but I was wrong. I cracked open the elite no firmware updates and ran it through the game it worked very well. It should be up within the next 20 minutes I hope you all like it. The video is kinda long 20 minutes the longest video I have done so apologies there.

I'll be testing the aimon ps elite with the tuact firmware update tomorrow for ghost recon future soldier to see how that works out compared to a stock setup of the xb.
