Hello? Anybody there? It has been over a month now, since the announcement of an upcoming firmware update. Don't want to be too impatient - but a least a reply with an outlook (yes, we are still on it, it might take approx. one more week) would be very helpful for your customers and ensure that they are not churning, in order to use a competitor's product.

Thanks!

im glad we heard from another person who is waiting for the firmware.

frankly i'm very disappointed that there has been no response, but that seems to be the way things go here at tuact.

when i started posting here i would hear from skrilla now and then, and suddenly support just fizzled out. at least for the aimon ps. not sure about the elites. maybe they only take care of elite customers now. also, i once emailed support about the aimon hp and while i got a response for my first inquiry, my second inquiry was completely ignored.

really do hope there is some kind of an update soon though.

Yes, indeed I am waiting since ages - I check these pages nearly every 2nd day, in order to see, if there's an update or even an outlook available.

Tuact - seriously - don't run a forum, when you cannot even guarantee that a mod would answer user requests within a whole month!

As for the Aimon PS elite - yes, sad but true that most companys forget about legacy products as soon as their new baby comes out and (passively) try to upsell whilst not supporting the old model(s) any more.

No doubt about the fact that time and technology moves on - but let's face the facts: We are not talking about a 10 year old product and want support for Windows 95.

Sure, you already got our money and you are not earning a single cent more if you release the new firmware or not. But - hey, guess what: There's always a chance that a legacy customer buys your newest product - let's say the successor of the Aimon PS Elite (if there will be one at all)) - but this chance dramatically decreases, if you treat your customers like this.

Fingers crossed that somebody will shed some light on the question, of how to proceed with the firmware update for the Aimon PS.

You're not the only one waiting for this new firmware.

But seems to me they're going delay it till June, as DICE have said recently that they think they have resolved the input lag issue, with the new patch that is coming in June with the new DLC Close Quarters.

didn't they already resolve this with 1.04? the big patch last march? and if tuact was thinking this, they should have said so earlier.

Well I don't know about Tuact, but I've read a recent interview with one of the DICE devs, where they said that with the next patch the Input Lag thing is going to be resolved as well as some VOIP problems some PS3 users still have.

Can someone from Tuact please give some kind of an answer regarding a new firmware for BF3? Are you really working on it? Did you give up? Are you waiting for ANOTHER patch? Someone please clarify what is going on. This complete silence is totally disrespectful towards your customers.

I think it might be a good idea to announce our requirement separately, i.e. in an own thread, as it might be a little bit hidden in here (altough a good forum moderator should be able to discover it...)

Let's also ask them on Facebook or post in the Aimon Elite PS section -asking why they are not paying attention to the ps section anymore.

Kind of annoyed right now: Customers - we here at Tuact don't give a f...

What issues are some of you having so we can better address the issues. From reading on here through the posts some like the way BF3 runs now and some do not. You may need to adjust your existing settings to match dices adjustments to their game. I do recommend visiting our configs section which other gamers have added to. tuact.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&am...;id=8075&lang=en

First of all, that link you have on your post has 2 (TWO) settings. One doesn't even use your own firmware. Isn't that a clear indication that the current firmware probably isn't working as well as the majority of users would like it to be?

Secondly, a month and a few weeks ago, Skrill/Tuact Support Team posted this on this thread, on page 5:

"We are working on it we will keep you all posted.

Skrilla"

This indicates 2 things.

First, you said you are already working on a new firmware. So some work was on the way, but now you are saying that we just have to change our settings.

Second, working on a new firmware means that Tuact themselves admit and realize that a new firmware is needed. Otherwise Skrill/Tuact Support would not have posted that.

Skrilla once posted that he himself was not satisfied with the latest BF3 patch and that Tuact was waiting for a new patch. Even their promoter, GodJoey, has said this. I hope these posts are not deleted so that I can find them and show them to everyone. Now, the new patch has arrived, but there is still no new firmware.

Also, if Dice has "changed the mechanics" of the game (mentioned on another thread by Skrilla posted just today), then that is ALSO a clear indication that the firmware needs to be changed as the old firmwares were based on OLD mechanics.

As for what is exactly wrong with the current firmware, I will give it another run, as I had already forgotten how it feels. I have stopped using the Aimon PS for BF3 for quite some time now since the current firmware is not good. I will also start being more actively visible as salz has advised.

I appreciate your efforts to address our concern Skrilla, and I don't want to be confrontational. If Tuact is waiting for the next patch before making a new firmware, then fine, please say so. But saying first that Tuact is working on a new firmware, and then later saying that the current firmware is fine and many people are happy with it is totally contradictory. I understand that ELITE owners probably can do more fine tuning to their devices, but WE CAN'T. I bought the Aimon PS because of it's excellent customer support in releasing good firmware specific for each game. So you can probably tell how disappointing this is.

This input game side lag looks to be addressed soon by Dice in June. We can only change the best we can with what we have we are not able to make changes to a game we are limited to the aiming system they set in place same with Killzone 3. Dice realizes they have a problem we will wait and see how that works out.

I don't usually post but mamikapapo I seen enough contradictions from you and I just must.

Mamikapapo this is a battlefield 3 problem, I will reiterate this is a BF3 problem, do you get it? Knowing this you continue to expect Tuact will somehow magically change the problems with bf3. Take a moment and realize tuact can easily be like other companies and release NO FIRMWARE for any games. #1 this indicates you are never pleased and constantly bother tuact for updated firmware for a game that has a problem.

I know you read this but instead of realizing this you want to load up the forum with questions to tuact that you already know the answers to...
mp1st.com/2012/04/26/battlefield-3-ps3-i...to-be-fixed-by-june/

This is a problem for all companies dealing with this input lag. So far I have not seen you saying what your problem was just demands. Maybe you are incapable of tuning yours correctly?

You are very contradicting you said yours worked fine.
Also Joey has what footage of him using the bf3 and aimon? Or any controller for that matter? I go to their channel I have never seen any footage so why make things up? It is widely known all controllers are having problems with bf3.

Some quotes I seen of you on here mr contradiction.

"Anyway, for now I'm pretty happy with the BF3 firmware. Hope Tuact can continue to improve on it." - mamikapapo

"Hey rob, thanks for your settings. I used it to fine tune mine. These are the new settings Ive come up that work best for me:

Aimon PS (not elite)
In-Game: MAX (32)
Mouse Sensitivity: 1.75
Deadzone: 32
ADS: LOWEST
Mouse Pad: Aimon FPS

Works pretty well. I still experience some sluggishness when tracking short distances, and over acceleration when moving quickly, but it seems to be very minor and I've gotten used to it." - mamikapapo

=) This indicates 1 thing mamikapapo you are very contradicting.. Do save this post so it can be shown to everyone. Simply hilarious.

Re:Battlefiield 3 settings 1 Year ago Karma: -2
yes, it's true i had put up that post with those settings. i THOUGHT they were pretty good, but later, as i continued to use those settings, i realized i simply had more issues micro aiming then i did with bcbf2 or uncharted. i did like the firmware for bcbf2 and uncharted. i thought they were great. but i'm sure you can see here from the other comments that the current bf3 firmware is not good. that's a fact. and if you read my later posts, you can see my later comments as to what i really thought of the firmware. posting just ONE of my posts and not looking at all my other posts in total will obviously paint a picture in the way you (iceman) want me to be seen.

yes, it was a bf3 issue i totally understand that. initially we were all told that it was a problem with input lag. but the input lag has been solved. therefore it isn't a problem with bf3 anymore. right?
also skrilla had said that a new firmware was being worked on, right? that shows it's not a bf3 problem anymore.

I also know that there will be a new patch. my problem here is that we were told that a new firmware was on the way, and then suddenly there was absolutely no news. if Tuact intends to postpone it, i was hoping they would say SOMETHING rather than just leaving their customers in the air with absolutely no idea what was going on.

i also totally understand that other products don't even have any regular updates, but that's still not an excuse to reduce the level of service of your product. that's very basic when it comes to marketing products. don't get me wrong, I don't hate my Aimon PS. it worked great for me in other games. I just think they could have addressed these issues a lot better.

on a final note, i'm glad that skrilla finally said that they ARE waiting for a new patch and will "see how it goes". this was only mentioned TODAY right before your (iceman) comments. hopefully this time, the patch will be sufficient for creating a new firmware.
