thats better, right.
But still the zoom mode is partly jumping over some pixels. how can i say?? not too smooth. When i see an enemy and i try to aim him with a fast zoom it "hooks" sometimes on the way that i often miss the position.
Shall i increase the deadzone? or even lower it?
To which value? Currently its x and y 53.
thanks for your help.

reduce the dead zone a fraction (F and scroll down a touch)
also try reducing/increasing the ironsight sensitivity by pressing F and using the up or down D-pad buttons, this will only change your zoomed in movement speed.

ah, cool. I´ll try this. But i feel comfortable with the un-zoomed movements. BF3 patch will arrive soon. I guess then everything gets better especially when the "negative" mouse acceleration is fixed. Dont know if this issue was just fixed for PC users.

I just don't think people are really having any luck... I pulled my hair out enough to fine tune... just not happening... happened to me with Medal of honors multplayer also... I think I have it, then next time it sucks, especially bouncing back and fourth with MW3, and B-ops.. I don't want everygame to be like COD, but you have to give it to the boys, they have the movements down. Smooth, quick... I like realism, and I have had 60lbs of crap on my back, helmet, vest, chem gear, never had a problem panning with my M16.. Running, squating, and the like...yes..
I really hope they patch this game..

COD do have quite a quick movement but the also employ quite a high level of Aim Assist, which is why people generally feel that COD is in someway superior on the aiming front, this is unfortunatly not the case, they are simply assisting console users more than games like BF3 etc.
to be fair i actually prefer no or little aim assist as it encourages me to work harder. But i know that isnt to everyones tastes.

Hello! My bf3 settings on elite that works the best for me at the moment.
ARE: ingame Sence Max. deadzone x33 y37 mouse speed: x1.2 y1.6
aiming down the sight:1,0 button sence: High.
Firmware version: 1.2
Been testing different settings during last week and i agree, The deadzone is not to be messing around to much with because it decreases the micro moves.
I still have a tiny sence of flicking, when using the crosshairs but i think mousepad quality
is of importance here. These settings give me fast 180`s and smooth aiming.

Nope, I don't use aim assist.. I like relying on my movements... truthfully, that was the thing with MW2 that killed it for me.. the sniper quick scoping... skillfull, maybe... p1ss me off... yes totally.

i can't say that i'm very pleased with my Elite.
Because everytime i change some settings my mouse seems to forget my mousepad and i have to learn the mouse again and it's very hard to get i smooth again.
I've tried Daves settings today and after that when i jump in to a veicle the turret seems to go back to the standard position all the time and it looks like my setting is at like 3000, when i move just a little bit it jumps and hacks as hell.
So i went back to my settings i'm used with and with that i've never had this veicle problem before and it's still there now!
anyway my best setting so far with all the classed(exept veicle it's slow as hell)
Mouse speed:x0.6 y1.0
aim down: 1.0
Deadzone: x51 y51
button speed high
ingame setting: 10 clicks from max
i can't realy understand why this mouse is so cranky about the mousepad surface, i've tried several differnt mats now and i can't get anyone to be perfekt.
