Trouble Shooting

 We suggest you always test your product on your PC first because it is the most convenient host for you to locate your issue.

Test your product devices

 

Receiver (Referred as Transceiver Box or Dongle):

1. Plug in Receiver into your PC USB port in PC mode which has installed the driver previously(Venom-X desn'tneed driver). Receiver should flash its LED once then goes off(It will be On for Venom-X). If the LED keeps on(Or Off on Venom-X) for long time, the Receiver is defective -USB malfunction.

2. Press the Receiver button, LED should blink rapidly, if it won’t flash, Receiver is defective (Button is broken).

3. Turn on your mouse and wand, if both mouse and wand won’t work with Receiver, the Receiver is defective (RF malfunction). If one of the mouse and Wand works with the Receiver, the Receiver is good.

 

Mouse:

Before testing your mouse, first test the Receiver to make sure it is good, then plug in to PC USB port.

1. Turn on the mouse, the LED should go solid on or blinking, if it won’t turn on with a fresh battery, the mouse is defective power (circuitry malfunction).

 2. When the mouse is turned on, if it keeps blinking slowly, try to pair it to Receiver. If mouse won’t pair to the Receiver, the mouse is defective (RF issue).

 3. Move your mouse, and press each button, if the mouse won’t move, the mouse is defective (sensor issue). If the button does not register, the button switch or button rubber pad is defective.

 

Wand:

1. Turn on the Wand, the LED should go solid on or blinking, if it won’t turn on with a fresh battery the Wand is defective (power circuitry malfunction).

2. When Wand is turned on, if it keeps blinking slowly, try to pair it to Receiver. If the Wand won’t pair to the Receiver, the Wand is defective (RF issue)

3. Move your Wand stick, and press each button, if your Wand won’t output its assigned letter, or missing some letters, the Wand is defective (Stick malfunction). If the button does not register, the button switch or button rubber pad is defective.

 

After following the steps above in most cases you can locate the problem.
